ABSTRACT

One of the requirements to qualify as a teacher is to undergo a teaching practicum during which one gains teaching experience. This practicum is considered as the most significant way in helping student teachers to become effective classroom teachers. This study investigates UniSZA student teachers perception towards teaching practicum and the challenges encountered by them. 45 Diploma in Teaching of English (TESL) Semester 5 students at the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics (FLL), Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) were chosen as respondents. The research employed qualitative methodology with questionnaire administered to examine the respondent’s answer for every question asked. The findings indicated that the student teachers have different perception and expectation regarding teaching practicum but most of them looked forward to it. The result of this study also highlighted two prominent challenges encountered by the student teachers that were to adapt with the school environment and the classroom management. Findings of this study would provide a deeper understanding on the Teaching Practicum organized by the Faculty of Languages and Communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to get an idea of the effect of the use of assessment instruments in the form of animation to test understanding of the concept of refraction of light. The method used is a quasi-experiment with design posttest only nonequivalent control group design. As a control group used items were in the form of paper and pencil tests. Study was conducted on a class X student of SMA Tanjungpinang in Provinsi Kepulauan Riau of academic year 2013/2014. Samples were selected two classes of seventh grade classes were randomly parallel, as a control group and experiment group. Sum of sample of 85 people with 42 people for a percentage of the control class and 43 people for classroom experiments. Data collected after the experimental class and control class equally get learning the refraction of light. Gain control class test in the form of paper and pencil test which amounts to about 20 numbers, and the experimental class to get the test in the form of the same animation and the number 20, numbers matter. The research instrument used was a questionnaire about the pretest and posttest design. Data analysis was conducted using inferential statistics using SPSS 17. Based on the results the average score of the experimental class 74% with a standard deviation of 14 and an average score of 31% control class with a standard deviation of 12. It can be concluded that the test results of students' understanding of the concept of refraction of light that gets items were significantly different in animated form compared to students who obtain items were in the form of paper and pencil test. Understanding students' test results in sub concepts Snell's law, a concave lens and a convex lens using items were in the form of animation is higher than the students who use the items were in the form of paper and pencil tests. Students agree with the use of items were in the form of animation on comprehension tests concept of refraction of light. Students stated that the items were animated very interesting, a better understanding of the issue in question, to understand the purpose and content of questions, and a description of the problem becomes clearer. The use of items was suggested in the form of animation to be developed on other concepts in physics learning.

Abstract

As a kind of special human capital, executives play an important role in the survival and development of modern enterprises. The decision-making of senior executives has a significant impact on the development of listed company, which is related to the growth of the enterprise. A good incentive mechanism is conducive to the long-term development of the enterprise. However, the management of executive compensation in China is still in a relatively disordered state, and the compensation structure is unreasonable, which is not conducive to the sustainable development of enterprises. One of the most obvious characteristics of modern enterprises is the separation of ownership and management, which forms the principal-agent relationship between owners (shareholders) and managers (managers). In the daily business activities of the company, the operator will replace the owner to manage the enterprise. This paper investigated the characteristics of executive compensation incentive of listed company at home and abroad, uses the method of combining theoretical research and empirical research, and proposes to take firm growing as the goal, value of human capital as the core, corporate governance system as the basis, market competition environment as the premise, and external regulatory mechanism as the constraint condition, to build a foundation for future determination mechanism of executive compensation structure.

Abstract

As the pillar industry of China's national economy, the manufacturing industry has injected a steady stream of power into China's economic growth. Sustained growth of economy is based on the powerful manufacturing system, affected by the international financial crisis the subsequent continued, however, from all walks of life within the scope of the manufacturing of various countries are facing the production decline, shrinking market, user demand increasingly personalized, high resource utilization, such as challenges, these problems reversed transmission with various countries began to re-examine its own manufacturing industry development prospects. Firstly, this study defined the definition of intelligent manufacturing on the basis of literature review, and investigated the driving factors of intelligent manufacturing in manufacturing enterprises by means of questionnaire and in-depth interview. After collating and analyzing, two dimensions of driving factor variables of intelligent manufacturing in manufacturing enterprises are identified, namely, intelligent technology innovation and cost control. Finally, combined with the above research analysis, the main conclusions and innovative points of the research are summarized, the management implications of the research conclusions are given, and the shortcomings and future research directions are pointed out. Based on the current status of the development of intelligent manufacturing industry, the relevant national policies on the development of intelligent manufacturing, and the previous research results on intelligent manufacturing, this study studied the influencing factors of the intelligent transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry, and studied the overall research purpose.

Abstract

It can be seen from the financial practice activities of western developed countries that enterprises can often achieve their own goal of rapid development through M & A. from the perspective of enterprise strategy implementation, M & A is also an important business strategy of enterprises. Western developed countries have experienced five so-called "M & A waves". At present, it is generally believed that the first wave of M & A in western developed countries can be traced back to 1895-1904. The fifth wave of M & A in western developed countries occurred in 1992-2000. Because of the importance of M & A for the development of enterprises and the fact that there are many waves of M & A in western developed countries, the research on M & A in western academia is very extensive and in-depth. Western academia has formed a relatively complete theoretical system for the merger and acquisition of enterprises. But whether these theoretical results can be applied to developing countries such as China in the transition economy, there are different views in academia. In the 1980s, China began to reform at the enterprise level gradually through continuous decentralization of enterprise management rights and expansion of independent management rights. In the process of this reform, enterprises gradually become the main body of operation and interest in production and operation activities. The improvement of the independent operation of enterprises is the institutional basis for the occurrence of M & A in China. Based on the perspective of enterprise strategy, this study studies the innovation integration strategy of pharmaceutical enterprises and the integration strategy in the production and sales links. Finally, based on the evolution perspective, the strategy of further optimizing and integrating medical industry chain is explored under the guidance of knowledge base and customer value.

Abstract

The medical problem is a major national economic and people's livelihood issue that affects the happiness and health of thousands of families. The uneven distribution of medical resources, the lagging of public, rural and community medical facilities and services, the rising cost of medicines, the difficulty and high cost of medical services, and many other problems have not only seriously affected the harmony of the society and the healthy and orderly development of the economy, but also made the medical reform a hot spot of social concern. As the core capital of public hospitals, high-level medical talents have strong innovation ability and team spirit. They transform their innovation ability into production factors, thus improving the medical service level of the hospital, and finally enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the hospital. How to establish a reasonable incentive mechanism, establish an effective compensation system and performance appraisal system, effectively motivate high-level medical talents, is the first problem of hospital long-term sustainable development, is a new requirement for the survival and development of hospitals in the era of knowledge economy, and is also an important way for hospitals to improve their medical services and competitiveness. The purpose of the design of the incentive mechanism is to make the hospital competitive in the same industry and attract qualified employees. Secondly, to achieve stability within the organization, retain the necessary staff. Furthermore, the existing employees of the hospital are motivated to achieve high work performance, and the work goals of the employees are unified with the strategic goals of the hospital. And put forward the specific goal of incentive mechanism design. This article reviews the literature on incentives. Based on a large number of literature studies and the management practice of H hospital, the hypothesis and research model between the deposited contribution and job involvement related to the motivation of high-level talents in H hospital were determined. The feasibility of the above hypothesis is discussed by means of sampling survey, based on the questionnaire survey data and statistical analysis results, supported by deposited contribution.

Abstract

Based on the above research background, this paper aims to explore the impact of strategic alliance between public-private partnership of urban public parking PPP project on the capital structure and performance of urban public parking PPP project. On the basis of literature research and theoretical derivation at home and abroad, this paper puts forward the hypothesis of the relationship between the public and private strategic alliance, capital structure and performance of urban public parking PPP project, and establishes the theoretical model of the three. Finally, through data collection, collation and analysis, the regression model test is carried out. The results show that: ① the strategic alliance of urban public parking lot PPP project has a positive impact on the capital structure; its dimensions are positively related to the capital structure. ② The strategic alliance relationship of urban public parking lot PPP project has a positive impact on the performance; its dimensions are positively correlated except fairness and trust. Through the study of strategic alliance, capital structure and performance of PPP project of urban public parking lot, this paper can provide theoretical guidance for the selection and decision-making of PPP project of urban public parking lot, and provide basis for the successful implementation of PPP project of urban public parking lot, which is conducive to the realization of both public and private performance.

Abstract

The information technology revolution since the modern times has brought tremendous changes to human life patterns. Human needs for medical treatment and health are increasing and gradually changing. It has brought unprecedented challenges to the medical and health services industries. As a revolutionary technology that changes human lifestyle, information technology can realize the optimization of the behavior and mode of medical and health services. From initial attempts to widespread use, to the redesign of medical procedures, developed countries such as Europe and the United States have penetrated information technology into all levels of medical services. Information technology has become the driving force and source of the transformation and development of the medical and health industry, and the concept of smart medicalcare is derived from it. This study takes the mobile health app as an example to explore what factors affect the public's willingness to adopt mobile health. This research draws on previous research results and integrates the current mainstream research model. This study uses SPSS21.0 software. Based on the above results, this study puts forward relevant suggestions and enlightenments of mobile health and makes research prospects. It is hoped that it can provide some theoretical guidance and reference for the development of mobile health in China, the formulation of relevant policies and the optimization of service providers' products.

Abstract

Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering issued an appeal: Under the globalization of the 21st century and the general trend of the knowledge economy, China should vigorously introduce and implement knowledge management strategies to effectively improve the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprises from the management level. Knowledge management, as the cutting-edge research of management in the early 21st century, is the most effective way to realize the value of knowledge resources. However, in the face of fierce market competition and an uncertain external environment, enterprises are lagging, and closed knowledge management methods cannot meet the development needs. Only by synchronizing and coordinating operations between different enterprises through knowledge resources can we catch up with the times. The synchronous and coordinated operation of knowledge resources, also known as knowledge collaboration, is an advanced form of knowledge management and its inevitable trend of development and an efficient networked knowledge management. It is rapidly emerging between supply chain enterprise alliances. In summary, this article will start with the transformation of supply chain enterprise knowledge collaboration and supply chain knowledge to explore the deep-level operation mechanism of knowledge collaboration.The practical value of the research conclusion of this article has the following points. First, the cooperative operation of knowledge resources among member enterprises has improved the overall operation efficiency of the supply chain. Second, through knowledge collaboration, reduce the various costs of the supply chain, improve the level of innovation of member companies, and thereby enhance the overall competitive advantage of the supply chain. Third, in-depth research on knowledge collaboration among supply chain enterprises can provide decision-making basis for supply chain member companies to formulate strategic development goals.

Abstract

Successful teaching experience and outcome is often dependent upon the teacher's personal charisma which includes the qualities of a sense of humor, friendliness, forgiving, understanding, caring, patience, and so on. A critical link to all these positive characteristics is that the teacher feels a deep sense of gratitude on a daily basis. This article reports on studies from the field of positive psychology that focus on grateful affect and grateful expression. As far as teaching is concerned, it reveals that gratitude is one of the most obvious positive emotions to flourish a teacher's life and career. In practice, some tools of cultivating gratitude for a teacher are introduced such as staying away from mass media, keeping a gratitude journal and keeping a gratitude reminder. It is hoped that through practice, teachers in their daily teaching experience can tune their feelings to the grateful channel and arrive at the level where teaching becomes a calling in their life.
